Roofing work: roof covering and flashing replacement
The roof is a house's most important protection. A small leak can quietly damage insulation and ceilings, so it pays to maintain the roof in time and renew it when needed.
During the site visit we inspect the roof and tell you honestly whether a repair is enough or the covering should be replaced. On older roofs we also check the underlay and battens, as they matter as much as the top covering.
Flashings and the rainwater system lead water away from the roof and walls. If they are damaged or missing, water runs down the facade to the plinth. We replace eaves and verge flashings, chimney and wall flashings, and gutters.

How do I know if my roof needs replacing?
Signs include leaks, damp patches on ceilings, rusty or loose flashings and a worn covering. We'll tell you during the site visit whether a repair is enough.
Can flashings be replaced without replacing the roof?
Yes. Flashings and the rainwater system can be replaced separately if the covering is sound.
When is the right time for roofing work?
Roofing is done in dry weather, usually from spring to autumn. For leaks we come as soon as possible.
