House renovation inside and out

The client wanted to refresh and renovate their home both inside and out to make it more modern and energy-efficient. Under one contract we did the exterior work as well as the kitchen, bathroom and sauna.

Exterior

We insulated the plinth to improve the building's thermal performance and protect the foundation from the weather. Next to the house we built a new stone terrace that looks good, is durable and will stay in good shape for years.

Kitchen and living areas

Inside we laid herringbone parquet and painted the walls in light, timeless tones so the rooms feel more spacious and full of light. The kitchen is black and white: a marble-look worktop and island, black cabinets and floor-to-ceiling white cabinets, task lighting above the worktop and two round black extractor hoods.

Bathroom and sauna

The bathroom has large marble-look tiles on the walls and floor, a bathtub, a glass-walled shower, a wall-hung toilet and a backlit mirror, with black taps. The sauna got a glass door and glass wall, so the sauna and shower room form one whole.
