Two-room apartment renovation

A full apartment renovation, start to finish

We carried out a full renovation of this two-room apartment, leaving it bright, consistent and ready to move into. Every room got new surfaces and a unified finish: the living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and hallway.

All rooms now have herringbone parquet, which gives the apartment a warm, classic yet modern look. The walls and ceilings were levelled and painted white. The radiators are new too, with thermostats, so each room's temperature can be set separately.

Living room

The living room has space for both a sofa and a dining table. A geometric ceiling light with wooden details hangs overhead, and the white walls and light parquet reflect the daylight from the windows, making the room feel larger.

Kitchen

In the kitchen we used white cabinets with black handles and light wood open shelving that goes well with the parquet. The worktop and splashback have a concrete look, the sink and tap are black, and the oven and hob are built in. An angled black extractor hood completes the look.

Bedroom

We painted one bedroom wall a warm terracotta. It makes the room cosy and pairs well with light textiles. The wardrobe corner is screened off with a curtain and has open shelves and a clothes rail.

Bathroom and toilet

The bathroom has a walk-in shower with a glass wall. The shower wall has long sage-green tiles, while the other walls and floor have large marble-look tiles. The wall-hung toilet has a concealed cistern and a black flush plate to match the black rain shower. Next to it is a wooden open shelf for everyday items.
